The contract entailed modifications to the services serving the existing sales floors and installation of the new equipment to the new sales floor extension.

The modifications carried out to the existing shop floor involved removing and repositioning units and ductwork. The store was kept open for trading and the majority of work was carried out at weekends and evenings.

The new extension had supply and extract ductwork systems installed to conform to local building regulations, together with the installation of heat pump air conditioning cassette systems on the shop floor to give comfort cooling to shoppers.
