The Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology is one or the major institutions for the diagnosis and treatment of cancers in the UK.

Dovebrace have worked on a variety of projects with the centres engineers ranging from single wall mounted split systems to serve an after care room, to keeping cool rooms housing C T  Scanners and other critically important machines.

As with all  Dovebrace projects, client liaison has been the benchmark of our success in such applications where minimal disruption to the occupants is just as high a priority as completion on time and on budget. 

This project consisted of the replacement of the existing Trane absorption chiller and its cooling tower with a new Carrier chiller and dry air coolers.

Dovebrace undertook a large part of this installation, with the planning and management of suppliers together with the Hospital management to effect the safe delivery and subsequent passage via the main hospital basement corridor of a 8 tonne, 1000KW chiller, with millimeters to spare!

The 4No dry air coolers were manufactured and delivered from Finland, each weighing 4 tonnes. These were safely craned into position on the main 4th storey roof of the hospital from the main car park outside the hospital front entrance, in the early hours of the morning with no disturbance to staff and patients.

As part of a close season refurbishment of their existing executive boxes, Dovebrace were to install "Premier League" quality air conditioning at the home of Everton FC.

Dovebrace installed a 3-Pipe VRF system to provide independent cooling and heating to each executive box with wall mounted controls in each room to allow maximum flexibility for the user. The units were located externally from the boxes to allow maintenance and emergency servicing to take place even when rooms are in use.

This Dovebrace installed system encompassed the Everton F.C. motto of, "Nothing but the best is good enough".

This fast track scheme involved the design & installation of a Daikin heat recovery VRF & ventilation system into the ground floor of an existing apartment complex.

The system had to provide heating, cooling & ventilation, and environmental conditions such as space, noise & energy consumption had to be important considerations while the work was undertaken in a fully occupied luxury apartment complex within a city centre location.
