Dovebrace are fully conversant with all matters relating to Health and Safety within the Construction Industry and Approved Codes of Practice with regards to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and the Construction, Design and Management Regulations 2007.
For all projects, risk assessments and method statements are produced for inclusion within our Health and Safety file.
An audit of the project matters of Health and Safety is carried out at regular intervals, to the dates as set out in the Programme of works, by our in house Health and Safety Advisor who will report his findings to the Managing Director.
All Dovebrace operatives have successfully completed and are registered by the Client/Contractor Safety Group Certificate with all managerial staff attending CDM courses. Our Health and Safety Officer has attained the NEBOSH General Certificate In Occupational Health and Safety, whilst our Project Manager is certificated in IOSH Managing Safely Course. We feel that this maintains continuity in all areas of Health and Safety from the design stage, through to installation.
During the installation period we offer:
- Health & Safety representation at site meetings as required by the client or Construction Management Team.
- Regular 'Toolbox' talks ensuring our personnel are up to date with current information regarding safety.
- Designated personnel to deal with first aid and Health & Safety issue reporting to senior officer.
Our full Health and Safety Policy Document is available for perusal and inspection on request.
